Body of Life is a faith based not-for-profit food bank that serves Dallas and surrounding areas. Body of Life exists to show the love of our savior Jesus Christ by helping alleviate hunger in Texas. We partner with local ministries and volunteers to distribute food and minister to families in need. Our services include a drive-up food line, feeding the homeless, food box programs and emergency food programs.

At this time Body of Life is funded solely by donations from our generous partners. We are seeking support from local businesses, charitable organizations, public and corporate sponsorships and grants to expand our reach and end hunger in our area.

OUR MISSION

Body of Life is called to feed God’s starving families hungry in body and spirit. You will hear us say again and again: “We want to reach everyone, until ALL are fed.” We truly mean this. This means reaching the hard-to-reach people and places, the “least of these.” They will be found, and they will be fed. With God’s help we will work together with organizations and ministries to end hunger.

THE APPROACH

Our process is simple. Donations given by people just like you along with our community partnerships provide food for those in need. Then we take the food out into the community as the hands and feet of Jesus. This is what we are called to do.
